We have acquired a batch of lightweight and beautifully figured Bubble Gum Wood for musical instruments. This special wood is now available as a body wood option for S-Series guitars and basses. The supply is extremely limited—only around 30 bodies can be produced.

What is Bubble Gum Wood?
バブルガムウッドとは？
This wood originates from Malaysia and is commonly known as Jelutong. It offers a distinctive tonal character with a rich, chewy midrange. The small black marks that appear on its beautiful ivory-colored surface are tap holes made to collect tree sap. This sap is famously used as a base material for chewing gum, which inspired us to name this wood “Bubble Gum Wood.”
マレーシア原産の木材で、一般的には ジェルトン（Jelutong） と呼ばれています。適度に柔らかい木質が生み出す、豊かなミドルと粘りのあるサウンドが特徴です。乳白色の美しい木肌に見られる黒い線状の模様は、樹液を採取する際に開けられたタップホールの跡です。この樹液はチューイングガムの原料として知られており、そこから私たちはこの木材を “バブルガムウッド” と名付けました。
Which Colors Can You Choose?

For CS models, you can select any colors marked with a blue circle in the “CS” row of the color list. If the model is 622, 622TLC, 622JMC, 624, 724, 420b, or 521b, it can be choosen any colors marked with a blue circle in the “Swamp Ash” on the list.
CSモデルは、カラーリストの「CS」行に○が付いているカラーを選択できます。 622, 622TLC, 622JMC, 624, 724, 420b, 521b は、カラーリストの「Swamp Ash」行に○が付いているカラーをお選びいただけます。

When you place an order an product with Bubble Gum Wood, please fill in the required information on order form and write “Bubble Gum Wood” in the memo field on line No.3 (Body Wood) of the order form and send it to us, order@saitoguitars.com . We will prepare an estimate for you.
