About Jess Lai Mieritz
Jess Lai Mieritz is a German-Chinese musician and artist, based out of Chicago.
From an early age, she began playing guitar and clarinet simultaneously. Being classically trained has given a unique perspective to her original music. A producer and singer as well, she writes and produces her own music. With a range of musical tastes, she creates music spanning from lo-fi beats, to hyperpop, to metal and beyond.
She graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, with a degree in Professional Music and Minor in Instrument Repair. Top of her class, she acquired the honor of Summa Cum Laude.

幼い頃からギターとクラリネットを同時に学び、クラシック教育を受けてきた経験が、彼女の音楽性に独自の視点と深みを与えています。プロデューサー兼シンガーとしても活動しており、作詞・作曲からプロデュースまで自身で手がけています。音楽的な嗜好は幅広く、ローファイ・ビーツからハイパーポップ、メタルまで、多彩なジャンルをクロスオーバーするサウンドを生み出しています。
ボストンのバークリー音楽大学ではプロフェッショナル・ミュージックを専攻し、楽器修理を副専攻として学びました。成績トップで卒業し、最優秀の栄誉である Summa Cum Laude を授与されています。
